Seven contractors receive distinction for environmentally friendly work.
Sika Roofing honored 20 contractors as Projects of the Year winners for their outstanding work across four categories – Low Slope-New Construction, Low Slope-Re-Roof, Steep Slope, and Waterproofing. Sika also distinguished seven of those applicators for their commitment to sustainability and environmentally friendly practices.

Prospect Waterproofing Company provided the Smithsonian Institution's Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, D.C., with a new watertight roofing system featuring American Hydrotech's Monolithic Membrane 6125®. Now, the priceless modern art will be protected for years to come.
L.S. Decker, Inc., installed more than 56,000 square feet of American Hydrotech's 6125® on a new LEED Platinum designed, 29-story office tower in downtown Houston, including ten exterior garden terraces and the first parking level.
Residents of the Atlantic Ocean Club Condominium in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, have a renovated rooftop pool and sundeck area and a lower-level sundeck, thanks to Concrete Protection & Restoration, Inc., and a newly installed Sikalastic® RoofPro roofing and waterproofing system.
Cahill Contracting replaced the aging roof of the Oaks at Riverside North with a Sikalastic RoofPro System that met Florida NEMO uplift testing over plywood decks. Cooper River Contracting, the general contractor for the project, covered rebuilt balcony decks with Sikalastic®-624 WP.
The Modern Woodmen of America Headquarters on Rock Island, Illinois, features a new, sustainable roof and waterproofing system, and a plaza deck with garden areas and a three-hole putting green, thanks to Sterling Commercial Roofing and Sarnafil® EnergySmart membranes.
One River North, a 16-story building in Denver, features a canyon-like crack in the facade designed to mimic the diverse topography of Colorado. Thanks to Douglass Colony Group and American Hydrotech's Monolithic Membrane 6125®, One River North is a stunning and unforgettable landmark for the city.
