Detail Membrane PVC

Detail Membrane is a PVC Thermoplastic membrane used for flashing details

Detail Membrane PVC is produced with an integral fiberglass mat reinforcement for dimensional stability and is more pliable than Sarnafil G 410 flashing membrane making it easier to stretch and weld. Detail Membrane is intended for flashing pipes, inside/outside corners and unusual shaped penetrations.

Chemical Base

Thermoplastic PVC membrane containing ultraviolet light stabilizers, flame retardant and integral carrier. Detail Membrane has a unique lacquer coating applied to the top surface of the membrane. Available in 60 mil (1.5 mm) thickness.

Storage Conditions

Store rolls standing on end on pallets and fully protected from the weather with clean canvas tarpaulins. Unvented polyethylene tarpaulins are not accepted due to the accumulation of moisture beneath the tarpaulin in certain weather conditions that may affect the ease of membrane weldability.

Application steps

APPLICATION

Detail Membrane is installed by Authorized Applicators on pipes, corners and other roof penetrations. Detail Membrane can be heated slightly and stretched to conform around various shapes. Seams are heat welded together using standard hot air welding tools. Install Detail Membrane with lacquer coated (glossy appearance) side up.
